The 2010 Genoa province preliminary urban plan reports includes 115 areas awaiting to be reclaimed.
The 2015 Liguria regional list of the aforementioned sites reported 201 areas.
In 2019 ARPAL declares 231 sites in the regional list, but also that they are only a small part of the real list. Currently Liguria has 3 registered Sites of National Interest (SIN). The twelve situations reported are just an infinitesimal parts of the many environmental problems found in the Polcevera river valley.
