Also noteworthy it is an increase in childhood cases of allergy and asthma” says Paola Marenco. Studies conducted between 2009 and 2013 by the Ligurian health company (Alisa) and the cancer institute of the San Martino hospital (Ist) have led to an alarming fact: in Valpolcevera and in the Western Ligurian the cancer related deaths are  more than any other area of the region.
