Explosion of piles n˚ 10 and n˚ 11 of the former Morandi Bridge

On June 28th, 2019, at 9:37am, the controlled explosion of the bridge lasted about 6 seconds. A team lead by Danilo Coppe’s completed the work with no issues. Italian army commander Gianfranco Francescon declared the operation “perfectly done”.
