To reduce the enormous quantity of dust produced during the demolition by mechanical jaw, continuous water jets are sprayed towards the buildings. Despite these mitigation plan, dust inevitably invades neighbourhoods and residents complain of respiratory issues and burning eyes. Air quality is monitored within the construction site, but not adequately in the surroundings.
